In collaboration with the Australian War Memorial and exhibition designers Culture Collective, Lightwell developed a series of multimedia productions for the Middle East Gallery in the Memorial’s Anzac Hall.

Productions include interactive timelines, animations and personal story interviews, and a cross-gallery digital label system for showcase, collection and large technology objects

One of the projects our team delivered is Question Hub, an 11-screen video production with a camera-based interactive table. Visitors are able to select from a range of questions and topics (e.g. Is War worth it? Has ISIS been defeated? Why did you go? What did you find challenging? Women in Iraq) to hear different perspectives from ADF members, veterans, photojournalists, paramedics and Iraqi refugees.

Lightwell worked on this gallery for five years, from initial concept design workshops and multimedia documentation, through to filming, production, and final commissioning onsite. Throughout this process, we worked closely with the exhibition designers, curators, Memorial project team, architects, electricians, joinery teams, lighting designers, AV Systems and IT teams to bring this project together.
