Landmarks
The Landmarks Gallery Touchwall is a five-screen, multi-user touchwall located within the Landmarks Gallery at the National Museum of Australia, Canberra.
Visitors can explore a fluid timeline of pivotal landmarks in Australian history, supported by a series of interactive animations and sound effects. Each landmark is described and visually illustrated through archival imagery and objects held within the Museum's extensive collection. Networks of related landmarks can be revealed as dynamic visualisations to assist visitors in navigating through the content.
A series of ten interactive animations are scattered throughout the interface, each based on a specific moment. When tapped, they reveal an interesting fact relating to the animation.
