This 11 metre by 4 metre projection is a 3D CGI re-enactment of a dinosaur stampede frozen in time in fossilized footprints at Winton, Queensland.
The program plays regularly through the day and its 5.1 soundtrack fills the space, turning the gallery into a site of late Cretaceous carnage twice an hour.
A separate projection in another part of the gallery provides a backdrop of Bunya pines – a tree species found today that lived in the time of the dinosaurs.
